Banana and Chocolate
Loaf Cake
Ingredients

1 cup butter, softened
·
¼ cup sugar
·
1 tsp vanilla extract or
vanilla essence
·
3 eggs,
beaten
·
2 ½ cups flour
·
1 tsp baking powder
·
3 ripe bananas, mashed
·
2 tbsp milk
·
6 oz semi sweet
chocolate, roughly chopped OR I cup chocolate chips
Method
·
Beat butter and sugar in
a bowl with hand blender until smooth and creamy
·
Add eggs and vanilla
extract and beat again until smooth
·
Sift over flour and
baking powder
·
Add bananas, milk and
chocolate and fold together until well mixed
·
Transfer the mixture in
a prepared greased pan
·
Bake in a preheated
oven, 350 degrees F, for 50 mins or until the cake is well risen and
golden
·
Let the cake cool in the
pan for 10 mins. Before turning out on a serving dish
·
Cut into slices and
serve.
