Aloo Postu
Ingredients
·
5-6 potatoes
·
4 tsp poppy seeds(postu)
·
2 green chillies
·
½ tsp sugar
·
½ tsp kalaunji (kala
jeera)
·
1 tsp pure ghee
·
2 tbsp mustard oil
·
Salt to taste
Method
·
Soak postu in ½ cup warm
water for 30 mins and grind into a fine paste
·
Heat oil and add
kalaunji, potatoes, salt and fry a bit
·
Add poppy seeds paste,
green chillies and fry a bit
·
Add ½ -1 cup water,
cover and cook for 10 -12 mins or till the
potatoes get cooked and then
add sugar
·
When the gravy gets
thick, remove from fire and stir in pure ghee.

1 can Evaporated milk 12
oz.
·
1 can condensed milk 14
oz.
·
32 oz plain yogurt
·
Blend together all the
above ingredients and put it in a preheated oven
(400 degrees) for 4-5
hrs
·
The oven should be
switched off when the yogurt is in.
